Solutions

New by the device and system is that it can be used to provide faster, safer and more transparent real-time location, stearable bidirectional evacuation and identification of people, individually or in groups within large complex buildings, ships and other constructions.

The system is based on RFID - controlled emergency lighting and radio signaling thus with an unique individual identification.

The system will also provide an overview (counting and listing) of personell mustered, and any who still have not escaped so that available search and rescue forces can be directed directly to them. The system can store historical events and may also include individual ID, more valueadded administrative and business functions, and additional services like access, electronic key, time recording – all based on RFID in a LAN / WLAN, like Wi-Fi network.

All the auxiliary devices within security measures, as you understand, can’t be openly discussed here in public, but strictly on the need to know basis by authorized staff. These measures can be in regard of, among others, school-shooting, special VIP and "S1" protection, terrorist attacks and other Homeland Security efforts.

It is developed 3-4 different devices for emergency location, while the underlying management and control systems are mainly the same.

On Land - At Sea

New by the device and system is that it can be used to provide faster, more transparent and dirigible evacuation, localization and identification of people, individually or in groups within large complex buildings, ships and other construction in a state of any emergency. Trough own and others research, multiple other functions and solutions has emerged from all the normal Access, ID and other administrative- and logistics functions - to the most advanced safety and security measures you can imagine.

Presafe - TC-Mobile

Pre-evaluation EX / ATEX for The TC-MOBILE - Completed 3th of November 2016

Presafe provides pre-evaluation already at the early stages of the product development cycle, starting with design evaluation, followed by testing and project management services throughout the different development stages of the product.

During the meeting held 2016-10-13 between Presafe and Magne Ege Dahl, we concluded that the latter is the preferred type of protection for ”TC-Mobile”: The design will be constructed in accordance with the requirements of EN 60079-0:2012 and EN60079-11:2012, Ex ib IIC T4 Gb

The evaluation shows that the product falls within the scope of either encapsulation, “Ex mb” or intrinsic safety, “Ex ib”. Encapsulation relies on physical type tests, such as thermal endurance tests, impact test and drop test without exposing the encapsulated circuit for an explosive atmosphere.

The circuit is housed in a plastic enclosure that meet the requirements of standard EN 600790:2012, Cl. 7.4.3 Avoidance of a build-up of electrostatic charge. The TC-Mobile will be assessed as portable apparatus, the enclosure does not need to be subject to the type tests for enclosures in EN 60079-0 however, the drop test of Cl. 26.4.3 in EN 60079-0 still applies.

The battery is re-chargeable. Inductive charging is prefered, the requirements of transformers in accordance with EN 60079-11 will in that case apply.

The choosen battery indicate discharge current of 700mA, 3.8V x 0.7A = 2.66W which is greater than the 1.3W limit for small component thermal assessment in accordance with Cl. 5.3.3 of EN 60079-0. This indicates that the circuit must be encapsulated according to Cl. 6.6 of EN 60079-11. Spark ignition inside the compound shall not be considered but all bare parts protruding from the compound shall be limited and intrinsically safe. This applies to the antenna, display, touch sensor,

buzzer, etc.

The threshold power of the RF-signal (Sub 1 GHz) shall not exceed the values in EN 60079-0, Table 4.

For Group IIC the limit is 2W.
